Seeds
Read slowly. Sit with what resonates. Let the rest fall away.
Emotions are the taste of experience.
We are not the flavor —
we are the one tasting.
To confuse the movement for the field
is to forget our depth.
Awareness remains unchanged.
Grace is not negotiated but noticed in the pause between breaths. When naming falls away, awareness remains without becoming an object.
The breath continues, and within it are countless invitations to rest in stillness—available in ordinary moments, without effort or holding.
Sovereignty is not control.
It appears when resistance ends
and attention rests without division.
Thoughts arise.
Sounds arise.
Both arrive in the same field
without crossing a boundary.
Awareness cannot be grasped.
The attempt to know it conceals it.
Awareness does not grow or diminish.
It gains nothing through thought.
It loses nothing through silence.
Mind is awareness in motion.
In motion, awareness forgets itself.
Objects appear.
Awareness seems to disappear.
Yet awareness remains, unnoticed.
Meditation is not becoming aware.
It is the easing of overlooking.
When effort softens,
awareness recognizes itself
without reflection, without distance.
There is seeing
before a seer.
Knowing
before a knower.
The body may fade.
The heart coheres.
Presence remains.
Light does not remove darkness.
It reveals what was already there.
Who is aware?
The question dissolves
in the asking.
What remains
is not emptiness,
but clarity without edges.
A thought has no substance of its own.
It is the movement of aware emptiness,
briefly sounding.
Nothing goes anywhere
when a thought disappears.
What appears and fades
has never left what it is.
I AM comes before the name.
What follows does not define what is.
Nothing stands apart.
What appears as another
is the same reality seeing itself.
Awareness lacks nothing.
The absence of lack
is happiness.
Unhappiness is not a state of being.
It is the knowing
of what unhappiness feels like.
