Dreaming, Waking,
and the Timeless Knower
All we know is pure awareness.

It is impossible to finally determine whether we are in a waking state or a dreaming state. The waking state stands to pure awareness as the dream state stands to the waking state.
When we awaken, we realize we were dreaming within ourselves. When we fall asleep, images appear—people and objects seeming to possess their own independent reality— yet they are made of mind, not matter.
Mind, matter, and awareness are not three substances — but three ways of knowing.
In waking, there are three dimensions of space and one of time.

In sleep, the three dimensions vanish, and only one dimension remains — time.

Within that single dimension, a new three-dimensional world appears.
Pure awareness has no dimensions. Awareness never goes to sleep.

Deep sleep is timeless — no duration, no location, no space.
Awareness is always awake.

All experience is timeless, placeless, without duration.

Everything takes place in, is known by, and is made of the timeless, placeless presence of pure knowing — our very own being.
